Past Experience
A Louisianan through and through, James Peltier, Jr., was born in Baton Rouge, but grew up in Houma, where he graduated from Vanderbilt Catholic High School. He then returned to Baton Rouge to attend Louisiana State University and continued his education at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana. James graduated cum laude from Southern University Law Center in 1995 with his Juris Doctor.
Just one year after graduating law school, James opened his own practice where he worked alongside several prominent Louisiana state representatives on both civil and criminal trials. In 1998, he joined the litigation department at the firm that would later become Dudley DeBosier.
In 2009, James joined forces with Chad Dudley and Steven DeBosier to found Dudley DeBosier Injury Lawyers. Since then, the firm has grown to become a state-wide brand with more than 170 employees and nearly 50 attorneys.
James speaks internationally with partner Steve DeBosier on litigation strategy and investigation.
Present Role
In 2018, James joined cj Advertising in a client acquisition role. He looks forward to using his aggressive attitude, knowledge of injury law, and track record of success to help propel the agency forward.
Moving Ahead
Since joining the agency in January 2018, James has already been an integral part of the growth happening at cj. Outside of work, James enjoys playing golf, tennis, and spending time with his family.
