Vista Consulting’s annual operations conference is one we look forward to every year, but especially this year since it’s being held in our own hometown. Every year, Tim McKey, Chad Dudley, and friends put on one of the best operational conferences for Personal Injury Firms in the country. Everyone leaves with pages of notes to improve the key areas of their business where they want to, and in a lot of cases, need to make improvements. Who doesn’t want to learn how to increase efficiency and productivity at their own firm?
This year’s agenda includes a variety of topics that will pique everyone’s interests: strategic planning, Web performance, company culture and team communications. And the data guru himself, Chad Dudley, will be diving into financials and how those relate to the current marketplace. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Vista Conference unless he spent some time talking about key data points and metrics. When I attended in 2013, these presentations were not only very revealing about how the PI industry is changing, but what measures you can take to make sure your firm is successful.
And let’s not forget the roundtable discussions and side conversations that come out of these conferences. What could be better than networking with other businesses in your industry and learning about their successes? As I mentioned before, make sure you bring your note-taking device, because you WILL walk away with not only a better understanding of how you and your firm can be more successful, but what changes you need to make in order to get there.
